Over the course of a calendar year patients fall through the cracks. It's not intentional, it's not something we want to see, but it does happen. Our fast paced lives and the increasing demands placed on today's Doctors of Chiropractic often means we are more prone to procrastination and putting off duties that seem unimportant at the time. Although they are often pushed to the back burner, patient recall and patient retention are two vital aspects of your chiropractic practice procedures.
The start of a new year is the ideal time for launching a patient recall/reactivation campaign. At the start of the new year many patients make resolutions to improve their health and wellness. Most of us see the new year as a chance to start off with a fresh start and a positive outlook. Your chiropractic patients are no different.
Take this opportunity to send out a letter, postcard, or other communication to reactivate old patient accounts. Use this wonderful time of year to reach out to those patients who may have also placed your chiropractic practice on their back burner. Contact patients who haven't been seen in a few months and make it worth their while to come back.
The new year is also the ideal time to launch efforts to retain your existing chiropractic patients. Make the effort to ensure you are doing everything you can to keep your happy chiropractic patients happy!
Don't worry because we will soon be launching a slew of new tips, ideas, and products along the way. From patient recall/reactivation letters to patient retention strategies, we have your back in 2010! So get in the right frame of mind and put as much energy in keeping and reactivating current patients as you do in generating new patients! Stop by this blog and our site again soon and watch for a free patient recall/reactivation letter template and more coming soon!
